Federal Budget 2026: Division 296, Indexed Caps, and What It Means for Super

Treasurer Jim Chalmers delivered the 2026-27 Federal Budget on 12 May 2026. Two changes affect super members directly: Division 296 starts 1 July 2026, and the indexed contribution caps lift from 1 July 2026.

APRA 2025 Performance Test: All 52 MySuper Products Pass for Second Year Running

On 29 August 2025, APRA published the fifth annual superannuation performance test results. For the second year in a row, no MySuper product failed. Seven platform trustee-directed products did fail.
